Hi! I have applied to the Maryland BON for NCLEX. I have already passed all their requirements (application form with fee paid, CES report & english exam) for eligibility to take the exam. My problem is after all these how do I know that I my application has been approved? I have been trying for the past month to get through them through email & overseas phone calls. No answer from email & the voice mailbox of the one assigned for licensure application status is always full. I have also tried calling their number listed on the DHMH website (not listed on the BON website!) and still could not get through. Any suggestions on what to do OR what I should do next? I am in such a dead end and could not get hold of anyone to tell me what to do next. Please somebody help!!!
found this with no problems and her email address is http://www.mbon.org/main.php?v=norm&p=0&c=staff.htmlDonna Aversa according to the site is the one to contact
I was referring to DONNA DORSEY. When my aunt told the secretary of the MBON that I have been trying to get through DONNA AVERSA thru constant emails (I send 2 emails/day for 2 weeks now) & overseas phone calls but still isn't getting any response, she told my aunt to email DONNA DORSEY (the director) instead. MBON destroys all applications with incomplete requirements in a year after it has been filed. I have sent & filed mine in June, 2006 so my time is really running out ... I wonder why DONNA AVERS was prompt to confirm receipt of my application & IELTS score before .. she seems to be nowhere to be found these days. Voice mailbox ALWAYS full. No response to emails. The one & only time that I was able to get thru the MDBON, she wasn't around!! GOD! :angryfire I have no freaking idea what to do next ...

Are you sure of the name as according to the site that name doesn't exist. The other option if name is right is maybe try emailing her @dhmh.state.md.us . Otherwise I maybe would try Diane Maskell as she is the director and for complaints

yup very sure .. DONNA AVERSA .. she is on the site
Donna Morgan Dorsey is actually the Executive Director of the MBON and the President of the NCSBN. Fax complaint form at 410-358-3530 and address it to her ( at least for documentation ).
Finally got through Donna Aversa's office. The one I talked to was awfully rude! Told me to leave my name then just hung up! Anyway, I called again & was told to call again around Thursday next week. Crossing my fingers til then. Thanks very much!
By god .. why is the Maryland BON so inefficient. Last email that was sent to me (after 3 weeks of sending 2 emails per day), I was asked when I sent in my application. Does that mean they now have lost my application? This is soooo frustrating!!!
I'm sorry to hear this. Maybe, they changed staff or something. You can go to the top person now, Ms. Donna Dorsey.
