Info Literacy

Info lit is next exam I'm needing to take. How do I sign up for this and what does it cost?

Specializes in Emergency.

Info Lit goes through UExcel which can be done right through the EC website, but I don't remember how I got there. Contact the help desk if you can't find it.

The class itself was pretty much a joke. It is required for your degree, it is only a credit and it is the most expensive class I had to take through EC. It covers what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. How to do a library search, how to do a Google search, et al. It was annoying but one can blow through it in no time. I think that I.L. is required pretty much everywhere so anyone in a traditional program is sharing in the love that is Info Lit.

It's a course instead of an exam so I think you have to check under courses. It's one credit which is $465 I think, but you can zip through it in a few hours. I think I did it in 4 or 5 hours over 2 days.

Thanks & I found it

I took it back in August and it took a grand total of 4 hours to complete. Good luck.

This class is like almost $500, and will take a few hours to finish. This is the last credit I took before being eligible to graduate. I took care of CPNE before this one. You register for it the same way you register for courses.
