I am just about to start my first year of university in the USA in the process of getting my BSN. I want to move abroad and work in Europe (Italy) as an RN. How long should I expect to work as an RN in the USA before I could get a job over there? I am planning on taking Italian while in college and possibly studying abroad in Italy as well to become fluent in Italian. I am also thinking of becoming a nurse anesthetist. Would it be better to do that before I move overseas or could I get that degree while in Italy? Also, does anyone know how difficult it is to get a job in Europe as a nurse if you are American? Any suggestions are welcome!
