infection control confusion:/

I am so confused with infection control. I really want to get it right but reading different postings about it on here gets me SOOOO confused. Then i read info in some books and it doesn't even give out if your suppose to wear gloves or gown. Please help me.

Droplet:

Remem spiderman (Sepsis, scarlet fever, strepto pharyngitis, pertussis, parvovirus B19, Pneumonia, influenza, diptheria, epiglottidis, rubella, mumps, meningitis, mycoplasma, adenovirus)

The thing i dont get is: what do you wear??? mask i know. but what about gloves/gown?

Airborne:

Remem My Chicken Hez TB (Measles, Chicken pox, Herpez zoster, TB)

I get that you have to wear a N95 Mask. But some people say you have to wear gown and gloves, and others say don't need to.

I get that you need to wear gloves and gown, correct?

Whenever I need to reference this material, I get my info from the CDC website. They have some lengthy powerpoint presentations there, but the info can be found if you patiently look through them.
