This post is directed to all current students and alumni from ISU. I would appreciate if you could post your schedule by semester as your education progressed. I want to get an idea how your class schedule was and how many classes you took per semester etc. Thanks

Here's the full time schedule...http://www.indstate.edu/nursing/pdfs/advising-worksheet/advising-worksheet-LPN-BS.pdf
though it may change as their gen ed program is changing effective fall 2010
I've already viewed that link, thank you for sharing. I'm more interested in current students & alumni, not the general schedule because everyone is coming in with different transfer credit. Everyone has a different schedule unless you're only coming in with your LVN license. So I want to see what the schedule is like for different people who are coming in with different transfer credit.

Ok, why not just come up with a schedule that fits *your* needs and the classes *you* still need? That certainly seems like the best way to decide what to schedule when. Also, ISU does have academic advisers to help with this, as all schools do.
Also, just a random thought but people who need a lot of hand holding and who don't independently seek out answers to their questions generally have a hard time in distance programs.
Actually I've done well with distance courses in the past. I'm not asking someone to hold my hand but, just trying to see how others have scheduled their courses. I'm sorry if you feel this is hand holding, but what you see and what I see are two totally different things. But thank you for your opinion.

I think you need to speak with an advisor at ISU. You need to decide what is right for you. I have taken 15 units and taken 3 units. It depended on the prereqs for courses and the courses offered. If the program does not feel right to you, then maybe you should take a different route. The general schedule is your schedule by semester again depending on what prereqs you already have and which courses are being offered for that semester.
