Indiana State????

Published

I'am considering trying to get my Bachelors in Nursing from Indiana State. Is there anyone out there that is taking this program through Indiana??? I was just wondering about how a person does clinicals and how long do they say it will take to complete the program. I want to try and work as much as possible while attending. So could someone please help me understand about this college and how it works???

Thanks

Thanks Jode,

Another nurse on the board had a horrible experience with the patho and adv stats professors. She also mentioned that she thought that most of the professors were not FNP's and resume's were not high quality. I did go on the web site and looked at the faculty but it didn't go over their credential's. How have you found the professors?

If you had stat's as an undergrad do you still have to take another stats class? Also, do they allow you to use PA's for perceptors??? I know that Southern Indiana does not allow for PA perceptors.

Overall, are you happy with the Masters program?

Thank you so much. I am trying to decide between ISU and USI. I have to let ISU know by mid April.

Thank you.

I am in the nursing education tract, not FNP. My professors have all been PhD's, published, and have written textbooks. They have been accommodating, accessable and I am having fun while I learn. I took my BSN on line at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences.

I did not have to take A&P, but stats was not a walk in the park. However, the book was easy to use and again, the prof. was helpful, understanding and accessible. He did not hold your hand however. Shouldn't have to...it's graduate school.
