From above sticky post, i see it is the only program for LPN to BSN (Indiana State University). Has anyone attended this online school? How do you do clilnicals?

I just met with someone from TCN who explained the program to me. You will do clinicals in local facilities. You can either request or allow them to assign a preceptor for the clinical portion.

Scallywags,
Did they give you a cost for the ISU portion of the program (the core nursing classes)? Thanks!
How long will it all take???
It depends on how many general ed classes you already have. That is the part where you use TCN to get books and take exams. The 2nd part includes some clinicals and classes. The third part is all clinical and nursing classes that are semester in length. It could take anywhere from 2-4 years.
I think it is around $12K, but there seem to be many variables?
2-4 years, wowwser. So then is the only benefit that it is given online?? What do you think is the determination of either 2 or 4 years? Two years would be great of course. I guess i need to view their requirements, i have already requested info from them.
The acronyms being used, I dont know what they mean. The time is it as stressful and full of pressure as regular nursing school. Most online school/classes that ive heard of give alot more work and are harder. Is this the case w/this university as well?
Has anyone out there graduated from this school?
For me, the one major positive about this program is that there is no wait list. I have a list of the requirements and it looks like the nursing classes themselves will only take about 1.5 years.
Wow, thats great!! How long before they contacted you? It hasnt been quite a week yet that i contacted them. Good Luck!
