U.S.A. Indiana

Published

Has anyone ever heard of this school? It is in northwest indiana. Its a accelerated RN program. 15 month RN program for ASN. I am a little confused becasue Ivy Tech is saying that there is a list for both PN and RN programs but I dont wanna be just waiting around. I am thinking about dabney but its 32 grand! I was also thinking about Everest College for LPN and transitioning somewhere but...I dont know.

which school did you choose?? i am considering attending indiana dabney, i perfer to skip a step if i can. please help :uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3:

I could be wrong..but I did look into this school maybe a year ago or so..and I don't think that they offer financial aid.. Also, you should check and see what their NCLEX scores are...if I'm not mistaken..I think they were horrible...but I could be remembering wrong. You should check into that though!

Just a tip for all of you who want to get into a nursing program - please ask if they are accredited by the National League of Nursing. If they are not, search elsewhere. There are hospitals in Indiana that will not hire an RN with a degree from a school of nursing that is not NLN accredited. All of the other accreditations are "nice", but the NLN, in my opinion, is the most important one.

this school is not NLN accreditated or are they eligible to accept student loans or grants from the government............I just dont trust that..... You could end up spend $30K out of pocket and 2 years of your life and have a useless degree......

Yes, You should go to the school directly talk to anyone for help and see if it's accreddited school. Try talking to some of the students there after school. Also, call the board of nursing and see if it's a good school or not. and what is the job outlook like..
