So, I am just a little confused! I had to take this semester and next semester off from Ivy Tech due to pregnancy. I am going back in august 2010. I am going for RN but if I dont get accepted i am going to shoot for the LPN. I have been hearing both positive & negative things about ivy tech's nursing program! I am so confused! Purdue or IUN only offers RN. Alot of Ivy Techs credits will not transfer over to PU or IUN. I know there program is BSN for RN. I am just confused on what to do!! Any inputs would be helpful! Has anyone ever heard of this school? It is in northwest indiana. Its a accelerated RN program. 15 month RN program for ASN. I am a little confused becasue Ivy Tech is saying that there is a list for both PN and RN programs but I dont wanna be just waiting around. I am thinking about dabney but its 32 grand & no financail aide! I was also thinking about Everest College for LPN and transitioning somewhere but...I dont know. ANy Reqs? Thanks!!

Okay so I am currently taking my pre-reqs at Ivy Tech State College in Northwest Indiana. I am very nervous that I am not going to get into the RN nor the LPN program right away. I know many people that havent got in and have applied 3 times! Great grades in pre-reqs and teas test! I am looking for a back up plan. I dont want to be in school forever. I have been looking into Surgical Tech and Phelobotomy as a back up. I would like some in put on what to do. Im soooo confused. I also looked at Everst College in Merrillville for LPN and Indiana Dabney in hammond. Im lost! Indiana Dabney does not offer financial aide and is a 15 month accel RN Program..Im so Confused! Please some advice is much needed
