Congratulations to all those who got in. To those who didn't, don't give up. Take the time to complete ALL the prerequisites you have not completed. You will be happy you did. I am a student at Monte heading to Nur 4 so I know the drill. Those starting and have not completed all perquisites, you do not have to take them at Mercy; all you have to do is sign a form that you are taking it at a community college or elsewhere. You MUST get that permission form signed. That said, brace yourself for a heck of a ride!! What can I say...it can be done. Stay organized, read ahead, do ALL your paperwork (its a lot), respect your professors (trust me they are watching), if you need help do not be afraid to ask...you will get the help you need. Nursing 1 please take Lab seriously, practice your dosage, stay focus and please LISTEN when the instructor is speaking!! It is a lot of work but a great and fulfilling experience. Good luck!! Enjoy your summer!

Is chemistry the only course needed?
no it is not. Anatomy 1 & 2, Micro, English 1 &2, Nutrition, Intro Psych, Developmental psych, sociology
Sorry. What I meant was, what exactly do you need to get admitted to their nursing program? Can you be directly admitted to their nursing program without having to complete the pre-reqs? Or can you be admitted while still taking pre-reqs somewhere else?
