incident during the Nclex exam in HK

Published

I just took the exam this Aug. 17,2007 and prior entering the testing room, I emptied my pocket. Little did I know that a little aluminum stick was left in my back pocket. I know it was careless of me. Unfortunately upon seating down, the examiner saw it and said to put it in the locker firsr. Take note that the exam have not started yet. They told me they will notify NCSBN/ BON OF CA about the incident. I am so scared if this will affect the result of my examintaion. I stopped at 75! has anyone ever had similar experience? I am at witts end. Should I call the NCSBN/ BON or not? thanks

congratulations! you did well! exactly how many days did you wait for the result before you got the mail? and what state did you apply for?

If waited for the month, then it was California. Quite simple. They do not mail the letter until 2 1/2 weeks have passed.

Adn forgot, great to hear that you have passed the exam.

So it is california who has the longest (agonizing) waiting period for the result? Darn it.

If you are in the US, then you will get your results in about 2 1/2 weeks, if not the wait is about a month.

This is a very well known fact to start off with, not something that is being hidden from anyone.

And another reason why CA is never recommended for initial licensure for a foreign grad.
