In state resident proof...

What type of proof do they ask for? I have been a GA resident for over a year, but I had to move away last year for a few months due to an impending divorce. I will be moving back- but I never had a GA license or job because I am a military spouse and we don't have to change licenses as we moved around so much...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to pay out of state tuition.

None of the bills were ever in my name either.:zzzzz

I know that my state waives the residency requirement for in-state tuition for military personnel stationed in the state and their spouses, and I believe some other states do, too -- you may want to check on that in GA.

do you have children? if so were they enrolled in school in Ga?

Yes she was enrolled, but only a part of the year. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed, or wait a year.

yeah, if she didnt finish the year there, it might look worse for your case, rather than supportive...good luck

If I had to pay out of state tuition, is it just for the first year or all 3 years?
