I have to take three classes over again and earn at least a "B" in them. Two of them (Psych101 and West. Civ) I am not worried about. I will be fine. I am completely stressed about the third...Quantitative/Reasoning Math. My weakness is Algebra/Statistical kind of Math...hence my low gpa to begin with!
I need opinions. I have to have at least (meaning least) a 2.5 to get into the program. Avg acceptance is 2.7-2.8ish. I am scared in taking the Math class along with the other two. I really need to solely focus on Math alone to get a decent grade. IF I take the two ok classes my gpa will be nearly 2.8.
Should I just leave the Math class alone? Will having a D in Math 101 make me look undesirable? My advisor stressed how impt Math is in nursing. Which I am fine with...as long as it isn't ALGEBRA! :)

Is there a reason why you would need to retake the 3 classes at the same time? Why not break it up: retake psychology and Western civ. together and then math (or vice versa). If there is a deadline, I would retake the math course. If it is a pre- or co-req., the D grade will definitely stand out.

Do the math over and do it by itself so you can put all your focus into it. I highly doubt that a D in math will get you into competitive programs. You've always got to remember that when it comes to getting into most programs. You are competing for a spot. When you've got other applicants with As and Bs, a D is most likely going to get you passed over. You can do it. Just dedicate yourself to it and tough it out. Take remedial classes, get a tutor, lots of help on youtube as well. Do what you must. And calm down, trust me I know what it feels like to be scared of math.

A D in your math class needs to be retaken because D's generally won't transfer to another program.
Quan. Reasoning Math was the first math class I ever liked. It was 100% better than college algebra. Take your time with the stats, it is simple math if you take it step by step by step. It builds on itself.. but it's not that bad if you don't let it overwhelm you.
The algebra is a bit overwhelming but again, is pretty basic.
This class requires slow and steady to be successful... you will do fine.
