In Need of a Preceptor

Hello, all. I'm a student NP student at Drexel University. I'm in the online dual primary and acute care pediatric NP program, soon to start my first PNP clinical course. I'm having the most difficult time finding a preceptor, however. I am afraid of not being able to secure a preceptor and having to defer starting my summer clinical and pushing graduation. I live in the Phoenix, AZ area and hope to put this word out there. Perhaps someone has a good lead for me, maybe an NP or MD who has been a repeat preceptor. I am in need of 160 hours, 16 hours each week for 10 weeks. If you know anyone I sure would be grateful!

I know there are services but they can be kind of costly. There is clinicalmatchme.com and sometimes they can find preceptors. It's like 15 per hour that you need though. Handles the stress of stressful placements like peds and ob. Then there is also Advance Practice Prep. I went to one of their skills clinics and I had a great experience with them in that regard. The other half of the business appears to be finding preceptors but I don't know how much they cost. I will say their skill clinics are top notch though.
