In Florida, can you sit for the NCLEX-PN ...

Published

when you are going for your BSN? I'm currently enrolled to start the upper division BSN program at USF this summer. By next May, I will have finished 3 semesters including two med-surg semesters. I'll still have two semesters to go (graduating May 2008), but if I can sit and pass the NCLEX-PN, I can use it at my current job.

If so, do you know what would be required?

TIA,

Kris

All you need is a letter from you school stating that you meet the state requirement. The school sends this to the BON themselves.

Hi, I was just reading up on HESI info and found your name and saw you are starting nursing this summer. I'm a Semester 3 (soon to be 4! YAY!) Anyway, good luck in the program!

When I was in the ADN program, we could sit fot the LPN after our 3rd semester was complete.
