In the event you don't pass, who determines when you can retake

I am scheduled to take the NCLEX 9/28. I'm hoping to pass the first time but in the event I don't, I'd like to know when those 45 days begin? In my state you have to wait 45 days to retake. Does anyone know when those 45 days begin? Does your BON have to issue another ATT?

Thanks

Hey - yes your BON has to issue you another ATT. The 45 days begin right after you fail. My advise is that in the event that you do fail, you should reschedule your second attempt AS SOON AS POSSIBLE before appointments fill up. Believe me you're not going to want to wait any longer than you have to!

Yes BON has to issue another ATT and you also need to pay some more fees to BON and Pearsonvue. BON will not issue ATT until your 45 days are up. Think positive and good luck
