I would appreciate if anyone had any info, handouts, or other helpful info for a medical/surgical floor. I would like examples of shift assessments, I&O sheets, all pertaining to nursing. I am new working in a hospital in another country and would like to offer suggestions to the facility. I have been a nurse for 4 years. If anyone has any suggestions or would like to know about nursing in other countries, contact me.

It would help if you told us which country then it would be easier to provide the appropriate materials for you.

Depending on the country, there are some significant differences as to how things are done.

I am working in the Middle East. I would just like basic information for examples on flow sheets, assessments, protocols, and other related paperwork. The main thing I need is an example of an shift assessment- review of systems according to the chart by exception method. Or if someone else has another idea on which charting they like that doesn't require alot a paper (they are tyring to work on a paperless system- HA). I have gotten some ideas off the web but would appreciate more. Thanks.
