Important-need advice for traffic tickets and major depression diagnosis

Published

Good evening all, I am going to start NS in fall and I am starting to worry about something. I see that for nclex we must submit declaratory order if we say "yes" to "have you been diagnosed with major depression'. Also I have traffic tickets. They were misdemeanors, however I fell behind on payment three times and was arrested three times for falling behind. Does anyone know if these will show up on background check? Getting worried:eek:

Yes, they will show up, so whatever you do, don't even THINK about omitting them from your disclosure statements. You'll have an opportunity to explain what happened, and it shouldn't get in your way at all.........but you must disclose your history. Nursing schools and boards of nursing check out all applicants, and you can bet that they will find out about it---oh yes, they will.
