I just came across an article about this in Nursing 2005, Here is the link to an article on MSNBC. They would be used to store medical data about the person. What do you guys think of this? I find the whole concept surreal and creepy myself...

No, I am not going to debate with you, but don't assume you know anything about me, just because I said I'm a religious nut.

I am a that because I believe in Jesus Christ, not Bush, Clinton or ANY politician.

I don't get my information from Springer or Fox News.... I get it from a book called the Holy Bible.

So cool off, I'm not the enemy.

I thought she was attacking Bush, not you. Alot of folks dislike the guy, the only reason that he won the election is because Kerry is such a hypocitical fool. Really, it's discouraging.:uhoh3:

Well, at first I thought she agreed with me, but later on down in the post it seemed to be kinda personal towards me, I think she thinks I'm a religious nut BECAUSE of Bush......not so.

I was a "Believer" before Bush ever thought about running.

She was kind of ranting and going on kind of senselessly, IMO.

People don't have to be Bush lovers because they are religious.

In fact, I dislike all politicians.

I see what they are doing. I dislike Bush and Clinton equally. Clinton did things I hated and Bush is doing things I hate now.

Another humble opinion of mine.......I did not intend to get a preaching sermon started here.

Politics and religion are 2 subjects likely to get anyone riled up, and man, oh, man, mixing them into the same post is really bad.

In my original post, I only stated a personal belief and opinion that web sites that promote giving out personal information is a "sign of the times" that we live in, and I get that opinion from reading the Bible.

One day, the inhabitants of this earth will have no choice but to let others have the information they want.

In some cases I guess we have no choice now.

I would certainly support any efforts to see if that web site could be stopped.

One web site here, a little information there, another web site with some other kind of info, first thing ya know, they got a whole profile on us.

Believe me, being religious and being a Bush fan do NOT go hand in hand. I am religious and I can't STAND that guy. I jokingly tell people that I think he may be the antichrist(maybe not so jokingly). Implanted chip under the skin? Definitely a sign of the times. I can almost see the future now: Half of the population being able to get goods and services because of their implanted chips and the other half living outside of civilization in poverty, having to steal to eat, because they refuse to get implants. Sounds like a science fiction movie, but I see it as the future. And it is very scary, and it is coming at us like a freight train. Don't believe me? Well I guess you can call me a nut too.

First of all, I'm a devout Catholic and pretty much despise Bush because to me he represents the proud and arrogent so often refered to in the Bible. Christ promised to 'cast down the mighty from their thrones' and 'lift up the lowly', to 'scatter the proud in the conceit', to 'fill the hungry with good things' and send the rich away empty. I don't think we have to fear, even something so forboding sounding as an implanted chip, because we have been promised the Kingdom of God. In the end true justice will prevail.

Anyways, I can't stand Bush, but I also despise the Democrats too. They are no different, with their main aim at trying to trick the public into voting for them in order to keep their seats of power and influence.

LOL @ myself...I'm getting my posts mixed up.

The original post here was about the chip implant. Somewhere on here is a post about websites giving out information.

But it's all one and the same tho, they are all techniques designed at invading our privacy.

Sorry if I caused any confusion, but I'm confused all the time anyway.

I think the whole idea of implanting chips in humans is a bad idea. The concept, if used only for medical emergencies, would be a great tool in healthcare. But the invasion of privacy risk is far to great for this chip idea to become mainstream. At least I hope so.

...Jennifer...

P.S. Would everyone please layoff the politics? One poster said some crazy outlandish things, would I would love to call you on the table for, but I'll let it be. This is not the place for such discussions.

I didn't even notice anything amiss. You're right, the topics are one and the same.
