@markknight_RN how many years of nursng experience do you have? And how did you apply to hospitals and home care in OZ? Did you apply online or did you go to every hospital there? Thank you

Did you hire a migration agent for your PR?

Hello @rina.bella, i have a cumulative 4 years experience in the nursing field in the Philippines and they considered that when i was applying for my permanent residency. I did the leg work all by myself. No need for a Migration Agent. You can do it too when the time comes. There are a lot of resource on this website to help you. I am very thankful for everyone who shared their thoughts and experiences.

Congratulations @marknight_RN on your PR visa :) finally you are now realizing your Aussie dreams...can you kindly post here what are the requirements and documents needed for ANMAC application? Did you also provide payslips from your previous employments?

Hi guys pls. Help me..how much is the minimum money in the bank for business visa 600? Is 250,000 pesos enough and can I present the bank statement of my aunt, will it be granted? Thank you

Hi everyone! I also need to know how much is the show money for subclass 600? I've tried asking consultation services so that I can have an idea, but what they told me was about student visa 575 (because they only assit student visa). I am interested in taking BP in IHNA for february 2014, is it possible for me to get my visa by end of january? and this is what I understood from them:

Financial proof:

Course fee:AU$ 10,900

Cost of living: AU$ 9,304.98 (AU$ 18,610 per year divided by 12 months= 1550.83 x 6 months (if this will be the length of the visa))

Airfare- AU$ 2000 (estimate)

Total: AU$ 22,204.98=Peso estimate will be PhP 954,814.14

Is it really this big? I've heard from a friend of a friend that he only had PhP 150,000 as show money when he had his BP last year. What amount can be considered "safe" or "approved" by visa officers? Can 2 people declare as my sponsor for my course in Au even if they are in another country (example, dad from Philippines and aunt from UK)? If the sponsor will be from another country, what will be the documents that should be sent for my visa application? Thank you in advance! hoping to hear from someone soonest!!! :)

When I applied for subclass visa 600, my show money was 500K. I reckon that you need your immediate family as your sponsor. Meaning, your dad can be your sponsor (also to provide proof that he is transferring money on yoyr bank account). However, I doubt that your aunt can be your sponsor unless she's here in Australia. That's what I heard from my friends who applied here in Australia but applied on different visa (student). I gather that Immi changed their policy regarding show money..

Thank you @Jackelyn,RN for the info. I am now thinking of getting a slot in Monash, the partner agency here in Philippines contacted me and told me that I am qualified. However, I want to make sure that they are not fake. I don't want to risk half a million pesos.

Hi,

I would like to share some info with you to be of help. In regards to the show money, it can be anyone of your family members from all parts of the globe. the deal is their bank account amount SHOULD NOT fluctuate (meaning no withdrawals below the show money amount needed) at a certain period of time. this was experienced first hand by my house mate in Melbourne last year.
