Badly need help/advise:

i will be taking up my BP on april, and this will end at around June 25. Problem My ielts will expire on July 6. Very VERY short time! Would I need to take ielts academic again? Or would APHRA consider this as valid as i completed my BP before my ielts officially expires...do you know of anyone with the same circumstance as me? Please help as this is my main problem right now.

Secondly, as to anmac skills assessment, I have in total of 3.2 years work experience in both general and emergency. Most recent is emergency, under what ANZSCO should i use?

Regarding professional references, I have professional reference from my previous 2 employers, but some details that are found in anmac sample reference are not included, this was also dated 2 years ago, would this be ok? I will have problems getting new references as most of my referee are already abroad.

Please help shed some light on my plight, because of this my insomnia has started kicking in! Which I haven't felt since I was in high school!

Thank you in advance for those who will reply.

Hi tooties. I'm afraid you might need to take academic ielts again. And references for anmac needs to be recent ones and follow exactly what anmac requires you.

Congratulations om'sarah!

I forward my concern with APHRA, They advised me to lodge my reapplication for registration a week before my bridging will end, by doing so they can consider my IELTS as valid...Hallelujia...Luckily, ANMAC, doesn't require IELTS, once one is APHRA registred. But I will take the academic ielts. Just in case. As I plan to get a student visa, after bridging. By the way, anyone in for Lonsdale/alphine health this april 6?

Hi tooties.

I think anmac does require ielts as well. There's a question somewhere in the form where they ask you to put your ielts candidate number. It must have changed by now but if you will apply for a pr visa in the long run, you will need ielts as well so might be better to get one now.

Hello belle_v2g!😊

If you don't mind, I just have some questions...

My OET exam will expire in October. Regarding the ANMAC, I have read previously that they require English exam with 3 years validity. Does it apply until now? And if ever we have the chance to get 457 visa... Can we apply for PR at the same time?

Thank you in advance! God bless!😊

Hi om'sarah.

i think you can still use your oet when you apply for anmac. If you get a 457 visa, you can apply for PR after 3 months. Your employer can nominate you again for that.
