My friend was able to apply for a visa even if she had a 6.5. She applied last April 2013. Visa was granted. I don't know if they do have a new policy about that.

yes you still can apply visa with that score. no worries and i think you may not need to take again the ielts.. the school wont ask you a copy of it when you are doing the bp,unless they asked you to,then no doubt you need to retake :)

i think you would still need to take it again, bec. AHPRA requires an ielts 7 :)

You will still need the ielts when you apply for 457 later on.

thanks everyone,so i really need to take the ielts again before i leave, hope il get a 7 all around...ielts are costly..=(
