- I am a registered nurse in my country and i am equally registered in the UK as a registered nurse.
my husband and i are considering relocating to canada(possbly manitoba, saskatchewan or new brunswick) with our baby girl.
-which province would u recommend in terms of fast registration and job employment and an environment with a moderate or average standard of living.
- also i would apprecaite if anyone could put me thru registration for international medical graduate(doctor).my husband is a medical doctor in my country but not yet specialised. what is the prospect and how can he practise medicine in canada.which province is most favourably.

I don't think there really is any province that does a fast registration and job employment well that will vary a lot depending on where you plan to live. You really need to research what the provinces have to offer and what you want out of your life here in Canada. I live near New Brunswick but more Moncton way and it is a pretty place
tx silverdragon.what is the prospectr for a foreign doctor and what is the employment prospect in new brunswick.Do the college in new brunswick province register RN or must i have BSC/BSN
NANB NANB
Not sure on the prospect for foreign doctors but I do know there is a big shortage on the East side and I know of hospitals near where I live that close for periods of time due to no doctor cover

It's VERY difficult for most foreign medical grads to become active practicing physicians in Canada. They are required to undergo a residency for FMGs before they can practice, and the number of spots open each year are extremely limited. There are people who have been cleaning offices at night while waiting for their turn. See here for some information on the subject: Foregin Medical Graduates Wishing to work in Canada.
Entry to practice in every province in Canada is now the BScN/BN.

In BC (one of the last provinces to complete this requirement -2002) they do not require a degree if you graduated without a degree before 2002.
However, the College of Registered Nurses of BC is requiring SEC (substantially Equivalent Competency) testing now for most internationally educated nurses.

Actually most provinces now have some form of SEC, whether they call it that or something else. The OP has not given us much info on her own education, but the reference to the UK raises some concern. The UK has shifted to a specialist model of education that isn't accepted in Canada, so they are possibly registering nurses from other countries who would not meet Canada's requirements. Both of these people are going to find roadblocks in their way.
