Mystiqx here, still waiting for that interview phone call and haven't gotten it. I applied since october, completed everything in feb and am still waiting to hear some thing good or bad. I know rejection letters went out this week and so far I haven't gotten one. No news is good news right? We'll see whats in the mailbox today when I get home.
My boss emailed me today to ask me to let her know ASAP if I got accepted so she can start working on my hours for part time and i guess also to qualify for tuition reimbursement that my job has.
Its very fustrating, it feels as though I've been hanging in limbo for years. There are days (like today) where its stressful at work, my bestfriend screwed me over and all i want to do in go sit in the bathroom and cry my eyes out

So did the person in the NY forum say they got accepted and they turned it down or did they get turned down? I'm still with that whole, no news=good news thing. I know a lot of schools will automatically contact those who absolutely don't qualify and leave the qualifying individuals up to the end decisions. I think it's also a good thing that they told you to hang in there and that they hadn't made a decision (this bears repetition, no news=good news) I really hope you hear from them soon so you can enjoy your time in Spain.

Well the person from the NY forum says their friend who was the one applying got a full on rejection letter, no interview, no acceptance.
So i guess as you say I am still a qualified applicant. I'm thinking they sent out their acceptances too see who will stay and who will turn it down and then go from there (i hope) I applied super-duper early, I had my stuff completed the end of feb, so I am praying that works in my favor you know.

Hey Mystiqx, I know it will just prolong the anxiety, but accepted applicants have 3 weeks to pay the deposit and accept so in the next few weeks you should hear something. At this point you might be able to call and find out if you are indeed on a waitlist. (although PBISON admissions is bad at returning calls, but so are most schools it seems). Rejection letters did go out last week (they were mailing them when I stopped in on wednesday the 2nd) so I agree that no news is good news. Hang in there. Your grades and score are good, and you are oviously immensly caring and compassionate. You'll be a nurse.
You are in my prayers. My goodness, I couldn't imagine having to wait that long. That is downright cruel! Just know that you have a support/cheer :icon_hug: group in your corner on here, and we are ALL rooting for you. It will happen. Just DO NOT give up hope. The call/letter will come when you least expect it. Hopefully very, VERY soon!!
Well no mail today, just my internet bill whoohoo, ive never been more glad to NOT see mail in my mailbox lol.
Well if its going to take 3 weeks for responses, I'm just going to go ahead and assume that if they are still considering me, I won't get a phone call until june maybe. I mean there is still a rejection letter is floating around in the mail some where, but I'll try not too focus on the negative.
Molly i gather from what you said that you were accepted, so with that I'll say:

Kare, no news is definately good news. Like you I know of people who already got their interviews and were accepted. Maybe your school has some sort of internal waiting list and they are working their way down it. (I think thats what the school I applied too is doing) Hang in there, it'll be ok, good things are well worth the wait you know.
I've been distracting myself by reading SEVERAL novels lol. I read 6 in 5 days.

I'm still waiting too. I found out that the very last day for submission of applications and related crap is May 15, so I'm thinking (hoping!) I'll hear right after that, as my paperwork has been in since February.
Good luck Mystiqx! I am still waiting to hear too! It should be any day now, but I applied at my program in January, and have been on pins and needles, so I can totally relate to how you feel.
I called the school today and I was told another 2 weeks before I can get a definite answer. I'm going to Barcelona Spain next week so I didn't want to go and they try calling me and I'm not around so I confirmed my email addy with them and also told them the dates I would be gone.
