I'm Sooooo Intimidated!!!!

I do Not have a clue as to what I am getting into!!!! I'm so afraid that I may not make it all the way through nursing school. It's terribly intimidating and ridiculously competitive!! What's a girl to do?? Is it REALLY that bad???

I just began this semester as well and completely agree with the read, read, read some more concept, however for me organization has been most important. In my program we take 4 courses, which all intertwine somehow resulting in having multiple binders but carrying them all all the time! Once you get your system down, it gets better! good luck! yea i was totally freaking out. i just really want to excel that’s all. however i am the biggest procrastinator ever known to man, so i know that i will have to straighten that out. thanks for all your supportive comments!!!

Yeah, it's tough out here in the wilds of nursing school, but it's also one of the most supportive and awesome environments I've ever been part of. Being around students who actually want to learn and faculty that literally bends over backwards to help you out when you need it is incredible.

They totally turned around my bad habits, too - no more waiting til the night before to study, now I'm on it like white on rice. All the time. I recommend getting a planner you like and sticking with it. Write down everything you have to do. Due dates, test dates, all of it. Use it. It will become your best friend if it's not neglected.

As for the rest? One day at a time, and remember that there are support networks out there for you, be they here or actually at your school. Everyone wants to see you succeed as much as you want to!
