I'm not a CNA yet but it sounds like maybe you just need to relax a little. You can do this. No one is perfect and don't be so hard on yourself. You just need pratice. I find that if I try to do things when I'm stressed (I've had quite a few stressful jobs in my life) I will more often than not mess it up big time. There is no reason to be scared, just believe in yourself, slow down, if you have to and think about what you are doing first(don't worry so much about being slow, speed comes with experience)..... you can do this!
Debra;)
Absolutely!!! I agree with Debra's response to you. Think positive and be confident. You CAN do this. Having just gone through the same type of stress with the exam, I can say that I know the feeling. I stressed myself out for nothing. Also, having been a college court reporting teacher for 6 years, I have experienced many of my former students just not being "good" test takers. They let the stress and anxiety overcome them. Don't do that to yourself. Stay focused, be confident and you will be just fine. Good Luck!!!

Tomorrow I will be starting my third and last week of classes. I have been studying my butt off and i have been doing really well in the written and the skills. Until last week... I don't know if it was the change from working in the classroom and then switching that to the floor and back or if it is because it has been so long since i have done the actuals step-by-step skills, but now that we are doing them again in the classroom, i keep screwing up. On the floor, i have no problem other than i am still slow. I have been studying and practicing the skills ever since this became apparent.
Any tips or advice?
Thanks!
