I'm Really Stuggling with Micro

I'm really stuggling in Micro.

Does these mean I'm going to really stuggle in Nursing School too? and be a bad Nurse? Or am I just over reacting? I feel like I understand when I am in class. I pay attention, take notes, the professor says I ask great questions that show I am really wanting to understand in great detail. My labs are good. But the tests..... I just freeze up.

I also had a difficult time in micro, it was the only class I got an A- in. I found A&P so much easier. I think it does depend a lot on the teacher and the style of testing. It seemed that there was so much to learn and I was never quite sure what was going to end up on the tests. I made tons of flashcards, rewrote my notes when i got home from class and read every thing numerous times, but I feel like i scraped that A out by the skin of my teeth. Just do the best you can and remember, the class won't last forever!

Thank you so much everyone. I haven't been on a whole lot because I've been studying like a beast for this next test which is tomorrow. My professor has not really been much help. His answers are "I don't want you to worry about your grade or what you need to know on the test. I want you to have an understanding of Microbiology." thats great and all. But I am worried about my grade. I ask him how to improve my gradde his answer "do better on the next test." He did say that if anyone does better on test number 2 we can retake test number one in attempt to pull up our grade. He says b/c it shows him that we are capable of being good students.

i've asked around and most of the people in my class are either hush hush about thier grades and study methods or too busy to get together. So i am going to be doing lots of reviewing, recopying, and flashcards for the next 5 weeks of class.

I am hoping that when I start Drexel in the Fall I will find a study group with people who study like me and we can all study together. WE shall see.

Just a little good luck wishes coming your way for tomorrow! Have faith in what you know and you will do fine!

What your instructor told you was the same that mine told me~ don't worry about grades right now, just focus on the tests. I thought "yeah, right, how can I not worry about my grades when I am failing?!?" But like I said, I pulled through and made it! You can too!!

I got a better grade! Slowly creeping up! I have to take the make up test on Tuesday. It can only help my grade he said. Its on 7 chapters. Time to study, study, study.
