I am currently a house manager with the developmentally disabled population. I am going back to school to get my BSN. I was told by someone at my job whom worked for RN magazine that there are jobs out there that will pay for living, car and school is this true if so who do I talk to about this? By the way my name is Tim and I look foward towards your imput.
Thanks!

Was she talking about a travel company? RN magazine seems to have become a traveling nurse magazine in the last couple of years. That's all they talk about, and that's all their ads are, anymore.
Yea that does make sense. Travel nursing because thats all I've read about as well in there magazine. SO only if you travel will they provide those things for you?
Thanks
Tim
Yes, some will pay for housing, etc. I'm not sure about education with the travel companies, but most hospitals offer tuition reimbursement. Travel companies usually pay pretty well, too.
I'd love to do traveling but i've been married a year and we have a dog... so i have obligations. If i was single that would be really awsome I do have a lot of interest going overseas to help countries that are not able to afford medical personel...
I hear ya. Not my cup of tea, either. Welcome to Allnurses! :)

Are you asking about jobs that will pay for all those things after you're an RN, or programs that will pay your living expenses while you go to school in the first place (to become an RN)?
either or...
