I put this question on here because if I was in the hospital needing nursing attention and the nurse that is overseeing me cheated on there exams I would not want that nurse because they might not know how to care for me properly or even worse be dishonest to my face regarding information that could be vital.

Just finished a unit test and when handing in the test to the teacher a student didn't fill in a drip rate on the back of the scantron. When he saw that he acted like he forgot but saw other students answers and put the answer he saw from someone else's test. What would you do? Let it go, tell the teacher? If I do blow the whistle he would prob get kicked out of the program.

Thanks, everyone has quiet the personality on here huh?? I spent a good amount of time the other day figuring out how much time I have and how much I should spend in a week studying. After work, sleep, studying, working out, household stuff and other stuff I had a remainder of 28 hrs a week to do whatever with. I'm trying to work my full time job and get my RN but it was pretty hard this last semester studying till 2am and not having enough time to study. I am currently a residence manager for a group home with 5 clients taking care of there every need, making sure there are staff adequately provided 24/7. 111 and 113 are the first level courses for the ASN at the Community College I am currently going to in NY.

I PASSED 111. On to 113 next semester. It was pretty difficult for me since I work a 40hr job. Any advice for taking 113?? Thanks Tim

I could use all the help i can get. I don't even know what field I would like to be involved with. The body just amazes me. Every new thing I learn about how it takes care of itself I'm just in awe. What part of NY are you from? Thanks Tim

Hello all, I've been taking my pre-reqs and will soon be enrolled in the process courses hopefully by the fall. I'm going after my A.S. RN and have many questions. I was hoping someone might be willing to be a mentor to me and lead me in the right route. I have found that there are many different roads to take and it would be a great help if I knew someone that already traveled the road towards there license. If interested let me know! Heres a little info about myself. My name is Tim, i'm 26 and live in NY. I have an A.A. in general education never got the bachlors becuase i never knew what I wanted to do ( I have about 90 credits in 3 majors...). I currently work as a residence manager of a group home and I have been the manager for a little over a year and prior to that I was an assistant manager. I have been in this field since I was 19. I have a great desire to care for people in need. I can't see myself living for my job or just doing my job to make money. I am sitting on the edge of my seat to get my RN license and I know it will be amazing to actually help people and not push papers around all day. I look foward towards all of your input. Thanks Tim

I'd love to do traveling but i've been married a year and we have a dog... so i have obligations. If i was single that would be really awsome I do have a lot of interest going overseas to help countries that are not able to afford medical personel...

Yea that does make sense. Travel nursing because thats all I've read about as well in there magazine. SO only if you travel will they provide those things for you? Thanks Tim

I am currently a house manager with the developmentally disabled population. I am going back to school to get my BSN. I was told by someone at my job whom worked for RN magazine that there are jobs out there that will pay for living, car and school is this true if so who do I talk to about this?
