I just applied this morning and got a phone call this afternoon saying that I was enrolled in the May class! I'm so excited! This morning I was pretty bummed thinking it would be October before I got in, so this make my day...heck, it makes my week or month! The class is an evening one so I'm planning to keep taking 1 science class per semester at the community college along with it to get all those out of the way so I'll be able to do the LPN-BSN bridge.
Kay, did you have to take some kind of placement test since you mentioned that you "applied this morning."

No this program is set up kind of stupid. In order to apply you either have to have an associates or bachelors degree or you can take the placement test. But, they had stopped accepting applications for a long time because the waiting list was so long. Yesterday morning at 7:30 they opened back up to accept applications. They do a 1st come, 1st in thing, but I was 8th in line and there were only 3 May spots available. So I think they do look at more than they say because I already have med terms, a&p, phlobotomy, pharmacology, human development out of the way. I really don't care how I got it, I'm just glad I did!
