My license expires in 2017, I'm going on 3 years of experience as a nurse. If I have 3 years of experience, does that guarantee me a job when I move to another state? Is 3 years of LVN experience enough to get a job wherever I want?

Nothing guarantees you a job in any state

So much also depends on your personality as well. If you're personable or not. In general you shouldn't have a problem finding a job so long as you're not too picky about what's Available. And always look into what your scope of practice will be. CA is very limited and majority of other states allow LPNS to do more. Good luck

Why leave Cali?
Are you in SoCal? There are many jobs in NorCal.... In my experience, which is less than yours as an LVN....
There are jobs in nor cal.
I'd love to stay in CA but I'm trying to go to a University. I just dont want to go to an overcrowded Cal State school, that and my GPA is 2.8 . Cal State has higher standards now.
