I'm beginning to wonder how o passed any of my nursing classes. I failed my lpn twice. I do pretty well on the Q trainers, I'm really sick of studying because I have no confidence. I tried Kaplan, but i believe it only helps for certain questions. How do I stay motivated?
Any help would be greatly alleviated.

I was going to give a silly answer because I can't believe this is a serious question. I tried to look up the names of some self help books, but was surprised to see that so many of them had four letter words in the title. The other titles were boring ....so here I am with nothing.

I think UWorld is better than Kaplan. Cheaper too. Motivation is going to have to come from you, but if you did UWorkd, a minimum of 75 questions every day AND read every single rationale, looking up into as needed. I cannot image you not being able we yo pass after maybe 1500 questions, and hitting 65% or better on the readiness test.

Please take heart, and don't give up.
#1 You are not a failure, because you're still trying!
#2 You are already a success x2, because you're 50-something AND took on nursing school!
#3 Weight: Don't try to lose weight right now. Going for a walk every day will help clear your head and give you some motivation. It will help your health as well. But, worry about the weight after the N-CLEX.
It's a real struggle. Many people failed several times and still became RNs. Many people gained weight. Many people had houses and families that were neglected. It's hard. But, you're doing it, and it sounds like you're almost done. You CAN do this!
