I'm affraid im going to fail RN school again..:(

Rico, congratulation on finishing LPN school and getting into RN school. You made it this far and everything is clicking. you said it your self you were lost before in RN school but now it making sense. for some it does not make sense even at the last semester of RN school. So accept the fact that as of now you journey gave you so much insight and now you know exactly what you need to suceed in nursing school. You must believe it, want it enough, work for it, which you already did for LPN school. ROCK RN school, Rico.

If you got through LPN school, then you can certaintly get through RN school. Believe in God and yourself. You can and will do this. Sometimes in life we have to take a step back to move forward. Good luck !!!

Rico, perhaps maybe this happened for a reason... perhaps if you had originally finished the course by the skin of your teeth, you would have not made a very good RN since your heart wasn't in it then. You could have ended up hurting someone because you weren't very serious about your education.

Now, you're in a different place, have matured, and want this badly. As long as you want it bad enough, it will happen for you. I know you'll do just fine!

I believe that.. I don't think I would of been ready with the knowledge that was needed to care for my patients. I've always known in my heart that I'm supposed to be a nurse but god I think wanted me to step back and go at a different pace. I just struggle with seeing old students I started with working as RN's and I'm still finishing.. Even though I know I wasn't ready. But August 3rd is my pinning so that's when I officially am a nurse. I was thinking of pre learning all the material for this med surg class I didn't make it through and re reading, since I'll have 10 months off to work. Would that be a good idea?

i went through the same thing and promise you will be fine. what you are going through is normal- i failed the first time, then took some time off and re-entered to be an rn. i had that moment like you did when i was suddenly so motivated and studied and became so involved in school. every single time i take a test, i worry that it will be the one that i fail. i have a 3.8 gpa and will be finished with my classes in march- and i'm still scared as hell everyday. i think that going through it lights a fire in you that only people who have been through it understand. i hope this helps- and big congrats on your lpn. use the confidence but approach with caution- if i can do it you can too- email me if you need any support- i've been there!
