UIC's GEP Fall 2014

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Just looking to see if anyone else out there has applied to UIC's GEP for Fall 2014. I just finished my application.

I have an undergraduate degree (1994) from Iowa State in Art & Design and a Master's degree (1996) from UIC in Art Therapy. Hopefully my alumni status will increase my chances.

I live in the western suburbs of Chicago and, if accepted, will commute.

How about you?

Whoever else has been accepted and plans to go to UIC feel free to message me since we will be seeing a lot of each other soon!

Arika sent out another email this morning. For those with Gmail accounts who haven't heard any news, check your spam mail for anything sent out on April 15th.

I finally got mine! After all the things I've been through this application that email gave me hope! Lol.... If anybody else got accepted please let us know..I'm so excited for this!

I got ya! I do have one. Just type in Maverick Canto on FB. It's all good! I hope we can all have our own page on FB.

Do you guys plan to live on campus at the SSR apartments? I think that's what I will do

I'm thinking about the same thing. I don't know the best place around but I think it would better for me to live at SSR. My cousin lives 3 blocks from there but I don't want any dramas from them.

I currently live in the Lakeview area so no housing for me :)

But I am facing a bit of a commute!

hi all, i'm a current GEP student, I started with the January 2014 class. they will start a fb page for your class pretty soon, this did for us and the class before us. congrats and good luck.

Hi everyone! I'm also a current GEP student but I started January 2013. I lived in SSR for the first semester . I loved the convenience. It was maybe a 5 minute walk from my room to class. The apartments themselves left a lot to be desired. They are really outdated and the WIFI was spotty at best.

That's really great I really need that! With schedule I have to make time for that. lol So how's the first year as GEP student? clinicals? tell us all about it please...lol
