IL license number! PLEASE HELP!!

Hi! I just took NCLEX on Monday and learned the following day that I passed. I have already sent in the $50 fee today (April 2). I have a line up of jobs that I want to apply to. Can I do that while waiting for my license number? Can I put License Number Pending on my resume?

Some facilities hire license pending. You can work up to 90 days. I took nclex 3/11 and paid the fee, they relieved it 3/23 but it can take 4+ weeks to recieve your license. I am currently working license pending.

Check it on nursys.com for ur license no. :) hope it helps

Thank you lillady04 and akomismo for the input! I've checked nursys.com and my license number is still not available. I'm just worried that when I apply for jobs, they wouldn't find my license number online and would be the cause of them not offering me the position.

You can go straight to the state's site, IDPR, by googling "Illinois license lookup."

And as long as you indicate you have passed, and license pending, you should be fine.

I tested June 20th and didn't get a license number until July 12th. I am also in Illinois and sent in my paperwork immediately. It Just takes awhile.

I tested March 11 and sent in my $50 on 3/16 and I don't have a license number yet either. I hope the wait isn't much longer :***:

Hey any update on their license? I'm kinda worried with mine. It's been 3 weeks now and still don't have my license. Already hired but they won't let me start til I have my license number. í ½í¹

Yes, mine took exactly a month from

the day I sent my payment and I sent mine snail mail. Good luck!

Hi! Sorry I haven't responded. My license number was posted on the 5th of May and received the actual card 2 days after. I've waited 1 month from the time I sent in my payment.
