If you work in/around Denver, please read

Hi all,

I'm seriously considering moving to Denver in the next 6-9 months. What advice do you have as far as clinics/hospitals in that area? Do you know of any specific sites that will pay for continuing ed? i.e., nursing school?

Non-medical q: what do you like best/worst about Denver? Can you recommend any websites that deal with cost of living and salaries for that area?

I'd also appreciate any random-moving/secrets-of-Denver/apt-hunting advice!

Thanks much!!!!

We have some great hospitals out here. Children's, St. Joseph...you can google "Denver Hospitals" for a complete list. Check out http://www.denver.org for cost of living, etc. Good luck!

As far as a place to work, i would suggest Swedish Hospital. i worked there a few yrs ago when i lived in denver and it is the best hospital i ever worked for, and i worked many depts. Swedish is in Englewood and about 10 miles south of Denver. GL

Denver Health is the place to be. Centrally Located - right downtown. Plenty of jobs, plenty of different shifts.
