ielts requirement for different province in canada

hi..my name is dolma and im a registered nurse in india with one yr experience in a medical and surgical ward.i have registered in a college in vancouver to study licensure preparation for international trained nurses.i have written the ielts exam and got an over all of 6.5 with 7 in speaking and writing,6 in reading and 5.5 in writing.so according to my marks they say im eligible for registration in alberta and manitoba.can you suggest which one should i apply for?and how difficult is it going to be?

does anyone also have any idea what are the various ielts scores needed for the registration in different provinces..for an internationally trained nurse.???please help me out in this...it would be really helpful..

@gulfraz, Are you living in Canada? Some Manitoba employers are recruiting and receiving resumes from nurses within Canada. If you are living outside of Canada, I doubt that you will receive a job offer.

Manitoba has currently filled its quota for skilled workers such as nurses although they will still accept applications for the future. You should make yourself aware of the provincial nominee program and how it works. MPNP Skilled Worker Eligibility

At present Canada is not seeking IENs.

@gulfraz most provinces do not have a shortage of internationally educated nurses, many have a surplus of IENs who do not qualify to be licensed as RNS. Before you make plans to work in Canada, you should become knowledgeable about the barriers that IENs face in order to become licensed as a RNs in Canada. Start by having your nursing education assessed by NNAS to see if it is equivalent to a Canadian BscN.

I recently gave my IELTS(academic), I got 6.5 in writing instead of 7, overall is 7.5. other areas scores. Is Nnas going to accept it ?
