Hi, i recently took the IELTS. I was hoping to get 7 in all bands but unfortunately I got a 6.5 in speaking ... I am planning to get it remarked/rechecked. What do you think is the probability for at least a 0.5 increase in band score? Has anyone tried remarking? Or should I just resit the IELTS? I'm just completing my requirements for AHPRA then I'll file it soon. Thanks :)

Some people here have posted they paid for remarking and their score improved.

the british council website has a collection of bbc podcast that you can listen to..listen carefully to how words are pronounced. take note as well of subject-verb agreement. it is also advisable if you'll do a monologue about certain topics... e.g. your hobbies, things you like, etc.. you also need to be confident during the speaking test.
find someone who's really fluent in the English language and practice talking to him/her. :)
I got these scores in my IELTS Reading 9 Listening 8.5 Writing 7 Speaking 6.5? Overall 8. Does these scores share a possible upgrade if I have it remarked? Some say a difference of 2.5-3 between scores call for a reevaluation...
