I'm a new RN BSN grad Ihad my first interview Friday and was offered a position in the ER. I also have an interview scheduled for Tues for the Cardiac ICU. I'm not sure what to do because I am seriously considering a masters in CRNA. I have no medical background aside from nursing school. Any suggestions?

Do you have to give the ER an answer right away? Cardiac ICU is better experience for CRNA, you could always go to the interview as it's so soon after.

See if you can postpone giving the ER an answer. Or give a verbal yes but don't sign anything until you hear back from the cardiac ICU. The cardiac ICU will obviously be what you need for CRNA school.

You would definitely need the Cardiac ICU for CRNA school! I would verbally consent with the ER but I would NOT sign a thing until you hear from the ICU. Good luck to you!

Since your goal is CRNA, you should at least interview for the ICU and see what happens. Good Luck!
