Hello! Is there anybody who will be attending International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) in Florida in 2022?

I also don't want anyone assuming that I am going to cheat through school or advertise it. I have a bachelor degree and many other classes and cheating was never an option for me. I have too much integrity for that.I work amd study hard for my grades.
Its all good. I am sorry I struck a nerve over something I had no idea what it.really was about since it was not advertised as a faculty book.
No nerve has been struck, I’m only giving you info that has been known for a while by some but not all. All is well on my end, it was merely info, take it as you wish. Take care.

My friend at work that just graduated from there told me about the problems. He kept me up to speed about how it was going there. Guess he will be moving into an RN Position on his floor soon.

OK. I also have a degree & practice integrity every shift but I don’t glorify it. It’s not that serious, and I will reframe from sharing info on this thread with anyone. Don’t want anyone else feeling offended from me attempting to share info. As stated, and a easy Google search will reveal, test banks are bought and obtained by nursing schools and not accessible to students. If a student has it you have answers to potential exam questions. Questions in the actual theory course we take don’t have test banks ; they have practice questions in the book and sometimes online. The test banks are online usually being obtained in less than legal ways or by instructors themselves tryna make a few bucks on the side. It’s a known thing but not OK to say I’m going to buy it and use to go to RN school. Sorry if your coworker misled you if they suggested that. I pray that they pass the exit. God speed ☮️

I don’t understand why there is even a topic about cheating when we don’t even know what the course curriculum is……. I’m sure the school will be making changes anyways so I’m not sure what the problem is with studying from a STUDENT test bank. Let’s wait until we actually start the program to start telling people that they could possible be cheating or not. All of us haven’t even started the program yet… I’ll take my advice from instructors not someone who isn’t even in the program yet. Not to mention the fact that you are adding more stress where it isn’t needed.

Trust, do you ? why be stressed? Do what you wish.

This program is NOT possible for fulltime employees let alone overtime. Maybe if you are starting off with fundamentals and Pharm but I tested out of those. My class went from 300 to 48!! They have restructured the whole program as of this year. They terminated all of their professors with the exception of two of them and everything is completely different now. We currently have class three days a week for 2 hours at a time and just in one class alone I have 34 assignments due in one week. That’s not including my other classes assignments OR the multiple other things we have to complete or attend. Clinicals are open as of the 19th and even then you will have 12 hour days plus your homework and live class.
Next semester will be my last semester and we have already received our schedule. We will have a proctored exam every single week including live lecture every week. All of this does not include the study time that you need for all of your exams that are proctored. They have changed the grading system to where your midterm is worth 30% of your grade, your final is 40% of your grade, and you have two other proctored exams in between those exams that is worth 20% of your grade. So the hours upon hours of homework that you have, is only worth 10% of your grade. You also need to find a time to study for your exams obviously because how much it will impact your grade. If anybody wants to follow the advice that they can work full-time let alone overtime, good luck with wasting your money. I can multitask very well and I can promise you that you cannot work full-time. Even our Medsurg 2 professor who is one of the only ones that did not get terminated even said it will be absolutely impossible. If you think you can skim by on the wo of your seat then you will not last when it comes to Medsurg 2.
Hello, any updates on your experience with the program? Cali LVN here who is considering ICHS. Knowing what you know now, would you recommend the school to other people?

What did your coworkers have to say about the program? Are you from Florida?

I have a conworker friend as well who just graduated. He only said if you can handle alittle unorganization then you will be fine. He worked on the floor at the hospital I work with while in school. He never said anything worse than that.
I did an Algebra class online with ICHS and I start in a couple of weeks on Oct 3rd. I look forward to it.

Hi, thank you for replying! How was the algebra class, and how long was it? Working on my prerequisites right now but might do them with ICHS instead. Do you plan to practice in Florida or are you transferring your license to your state of residence once you pass NCLEX?
