ICHS 2023 (CA student)

Hi! I'm an LVn (LPN) in CA wanting to do a bridge program to RN this year! Any California students or recently licensed in CA? I know the CA board has become strict with operation nightingale in Florida right now. I heard all FL to CA RN endorsement licenses are on hold?

Anyone have insight?

PS: I am am psych tech in Norcal

Hi! I was wondering what the requirements are to get accepted? I was thinking of trying for this school. How are the clinicals? Are they random days or can you take them 2 weeks in a row? Thank you!

Hi Danix,

Pre-requisites required are A&P 1&2 w/labs, Microbiology w/lab, College Algebra, English Composition, General Psychology, Speech or Communication, Philosophy or Humanities. All pre-requisites MUST be completed prior to starting the nursing core courses. I was told that for example for their med surg/pscyh you have to fly at the end of the semester to do the clinicals for 10-13 days

Hi Norma, I am also an LVN from CA and I will be starting the program in 2/2024. Have you heard when you will be heading to FL?

No not yet. Im starting my pre-reqs in Feb and the core program will start in June.

Hi everyone! I'm thinking of applying to ICHS Florida for the LVN to associates RN program.  I am also from Northern CA. Is there an entrance exam? I am also worried about the clinicals being out of state and was wondering how that works.
