IBC - have you heard of this?

I recieved an email about inflammatory breast cancer. I thought I would pass it on to everyone here. It's a cancer that doesn't start with a lump, and is undectable on a mammogram. The video stated that 90% of the cancer center help lines had never heard of it. One of the main symptoms is red marks similar to bug bites. All of the women on the video were told they had bug bites and were sent home with antibiotics. They all had stage 4 breast cancer. Scary!

I actually have heard of this...and happen to read a blog of a lady that was just diagnosed with IBC. Cancer is such a scary disease as it is-but knowing how "sneaky" it can be sometimes is even scarier.

One of my friends (a fellow oncology nurse) died of this.
