I wanted to know the salary of LPN before taxes in New York? Is it like 35,000 or 40,000? Is it possible for an LPN to make up to 80,000 a year?

Moved to the New York Nurses forum. Good luck to you!

City or state? It varies a lot - big state.

How about in manhattan? Do you make more the 80,000?

I have no idea of city salaries. I moved way upstate five years ago. As a starting LPN here, $14.50 an hour.

No, it would be like $45,000-52,000 year

Maybe a little more with agency nursing.

Usually RNs may make $80,000 depending on the hospital and the shift(night) in Manhatten.

You definetely won't make 80, that is an RN salary in NYC. You can make about 40K as a LPN, remember of course this is before taxes so you won't bring home nearly as much with the taxes in NYC.

upstate anywhere from 14-24 an hour. In the city somewhat more. Agency nurses make about 27 in the hudson valley, but no benefits
