You need to get licensed there, and then get petitioned by a facility there. You need a visa to be able to work there.
I already have a license as a nurse in northern mariana islands. Can you help me find a website that can help me with the petition? What kind of visa do i need? same as working in the US mainland? thanks
You need an employer to petition you for the visa to work there, just like you do for the US. But it is a much faster process for there.
thank you ms.suzanne. is it true there is only one hospital there? anyone here who is working there that could help me?

yes there is only one hospital in saipan and its a government hospital. so incase you want to work there your employer is the government and they will be the one to process you.
you know what website? you know someone working there?
thanks

Hi I am nurse working here in Saipan, CNMI as a dialysis nurse in the goverment hospital. Just some clarificationon the above post. Although there is only one government hospital here, there are several facility here like clinics, private dialysis facility and home visiting company that can offer employment ( working visa). So you have actually other option though not that many.
Minimum requirement to work in the goverment hospital here is 2 years nursing experience, work experience abroad is a plus and must be NCLEX RN licensed. Hope this helps.
