Hi There:
Does anyone know where you can take an I.V Therapy/Blood Collection course. I've been told its a great skill to get and it would be perfect for getting a bit of extra money on my off days.
Any information would be extremely helpful.
Thank you!

IV therapy was part of my basic nursing education.
Blood collection is on the job training at my hospital.
If you are in the lower mainland, look at BCIT or VVI for a phlebotomists course.

You could also sign up for an IV course through Mac Ewan University in AB. The course is online and you have four months to complete it. The exam is also online. After you pass the exam, you need at least three successful IV starts in order to get the certificate. You have the option to complete them with your employer.
