What services do you all feel that are you missing that you could use that could be utilized via the Internet? What would you like to have develop that would help you with your daily job?

I would like to go to the internet and order a special pill. I would give that pill to the families of my patients. They would take it without questioning me, they would not ever yell at me, they would not ask me when the doctor is coming to see their loved one every single day and they would not qustion every single thing that I do. They would be nice to me. That Is what I could like to see, can you make that happen?

After today's shift, I would like to have an option of placing an order for pt's tray or snack online. I had to call them four times for my pt today and go through the same thing: pt's name --> date of birth --> room # --> diet --> what does he want... and then no one brought anything... I wish I could just put an order under pt's profile, click a box, check whatever and send it to them and if they don't do it within certain timeframe, then it gets highlighted and forwards to their manager or whatever...I am busy enough to be waitressing around myself

I use the internet mostly for entertainment and information, plus I use Craigslist a lot. I don't enjoy shopping on the internet otherwise, although occasionally it is good for finding speciality items. Mostly, I prefer to shop locally.

I wish all of the consent forms were online. At my hospital, it's like a treasure hunt trying to find the consent forms and wastes a lot of time.
