I took my test on the 21st of March and only had 85 questions. I am so nervous. I felt like the test wasn't as difficult as it should be. The questions didn't require a lot of critical thinking. What does that mean? I only had multiple choice questions and had about 5 SATA and I know that I did not get all those right. Only got one math calculation. I am so scared. What are the possibilities of passing at only 85 questions?? HELP! I'm going nuts just waiting for my results! :uhoh3:

Many pass with the minimum number of questions, there is no way whatsoever to second guess if you passed or not.
You are going to need to wait until you can get your results, and that will be dependent 100% on the state that you wrote the exam for.
Best of luck to you.

Well If You Took Your Test In California They Just Mailed Out The Results For March 20th On Friday April 18th. My Test Was The Same Way It Stopped At 85 And I Thought That It Was Going To Be So Much Harder Than What It Was.
Congratulations
You Passed!!!!!!

I took the NCLEX-PN yesterday and only had 85 questions. It was much harder than I had expected. I studied everything that the ATI test told me I needed extra help on and still don't feel very comfortable. Everything I studied in my NCLEX book and CD seemed very redundant and I was getting the majority right. I have no idea if I passed or not! Does anyone know how hard it is to fail with only 85 questions?
