I thought NCSBN is suppose to be a comprehensive review?

My friend just enrolled in NCSBN. He let me access to his profile for me to see how it is. I noticed that Majority of the topic is just online, it is not explaining the topic very well.. The q and a is awesome but not sure about the review..

here is the sample topic

Maternal Physical Changes

Menses ceases

Braxton-Hicks contractions

Breast changes: areola and nipples darken, breast tissue grows larger and colostrums is produced

Blood volume, stroke volume and cardiac output increases to meet demand of enlarging uterus and fetal oxygenation

Enlargement of uterus causes urinary frequency

As pregnancy progresses, body retains more water, resulting in dependent edema

Melasma- brownish "mask of pregnancy" (formerly called chloasma)

see what i mean. no explanation.. or maybe i just don't know how to use it..

i think it's kind of a bullet-type review material. hehe just the important facts listed. i enrolled last night with their 3-week program, just finished with their pre test/diagnostic exam. :)

How did the NCSBN 3-week course turn out for you? I am preparing to retake my exam and thinking of registering for it. I don't have a cd drive in my notebook so I want to practice questions online. Any feedback on it??

hello...i just started ncsbn 2 weeks ago,,,,i got a 62%on my diagnostic test,,is that good or bad....is the real exam close to the type of questions they offer????ill be taking my test on nov 18..is ncsbn enough to pass,,,,????

60% is a good score.. Don't be discourage if you get a low score.

there's only a 20-item post test every chapter. i guess it isn't enough for practice doing questions. but they have a diagnostic test/pre test for about like 150 questions? from what i remember :)

there's a qbank at the end of the chapters :) so i stand corrected hehe you can answer lots of questions still from there
