Nursing may not be the answer. Seek budgeting and finance advice first. Nursing jobs are hard to find and you will get into debt to change careers. Get yourself financially sorted first. Then look at your options. You have plenty if time you are only 29.
This.
Stabilize your personal issues and then look at your options with more clarity. You need to take care of home whether it be seeking a better place to live and securing a better place to live with better rent, etc. Once you have gotten a budget down, and your other personal issues sorted out, THEN spell out whether you can do nursing school.
Best wishes in whatever you decide.

Hello All,
I need help. I am so confused. I am 29 with two kids and separated for the last 24 months. I was accepted into a nursing program and don't think I can accept it. I work for an airline full time and that is what keeps the bills paid. I own the home (no mortgage) but it is in dire straits i.e roof leaks, flooded basement, broken steps. I want to move and rent because it is getting just that bad. I don' t make enough though. I want to focus on school, but can't with this job. I'm working 50-60 hours a week and it wouldn't work. I can't quit because I need the $. When will I ever be able to do this? What I want to do is get the c.n.a license, work 12 hr weekends as a c.n.a and go to school. But what would I do for $ in the meantime? I'm so tired of putting this on the back burner. Please help. What do I do? Also, I get no outside help. No kin and no communication with the ex. Also, I can't get hours reduced ( I have tried).
