I am taking the PSB test in a month...

... anyone care to share their experiences? I know a lot of schools require the TEAS test so I am having difficulty getting feedback about the test. I bought Peterson's Master the Entrance Exam and I am slowly working my way through. I looked all semester but I could not find a close PSB preparatory class in my area. :( So.....

- How did you prepare?

- Did you feel like the test was different from what you studied?

- Did you do better or worse than you expected?

- If you could go back, anything you would do differently - whether preparation or actual test taking strategy?

I am a good student but a very nervous test taker! I appreciate any and all help - thank you!

How well you do individually is not as important as how well you do against everyone else.

A high point count only matters against the points of all others competing for available seats. I'm sure specific material changes each test session.

A good strategy would be to confuse others who haven't taken the test yet. Lol.

just relax and study the basics and you'll do fine individually.

Good luck.

Make sure you get a good computer.

I don't think you can learn a semesters worth of math and science in a month.

Just look at much as you can and do practice tests. If you recognize it on the test, make a guess.

Not sure how they can judge peoples ability by this test. Kind of like picking the best game show contestant. ha ha.

It's not timed in between sections. That's when your in control.

Thank you both for the replies! I probably just need to relax about it all together and focus on reviewing the parts I am most concerned about. Thanks again! :)
